ANN CROGHAN PT, DPT, CLC (over 12,000 hours in pelvic health physical therapy)
Ann graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. She taught high school and middle school before earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Ann worked in a pelvic specialty clinic in Denver before moving to a rural community in order to improve access to pelvic and obstetric physical therapy services. Specializing in obstetrical care is her passion and she also treats all pelvic floor related dysfunctions in men and women as well as treating the general orthopedic population. She earned her Certificate of Achievement in Obstetrics through the Section on Women's Health and used this information to help establish an unique obstetrical physical therapy which addresses pregnancy and postpartum care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Noticing a lack of lactation services in her area and misinformation from a professional stand point, Ann completed the Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) training, became a co-owner of a private lactation company, and integrated improved breastfeeding recommendations into the pelvic physical therapy program. Ann enjoys working with moms and families in order to "optimize movement and improve the human experience" - APTA vision statement.
